Weight Loss at Christmas

thin ladyKeeping up with good intentions can seem impossible at Christmas.  It is a time for good food and plenty of food.  So what can you do to keep slim over Christmas.  Firstly, relax.  What is the real reason for the parties and the get togethers – it is about being with others, have fun, sharing time together.  Food just happens to be part of the equation.  Remember, keep saying to yourself when tempted by foods “I can take it or I can leave it, and I would rather leave it”.  When eating, eat slowly so you are aware when you are full (if at dinner) and then stop.  Remember to be happy with your food choices and if you overdo it, then exercise more vigourously the next day and even the day of the get together.  If the weather is bad, put on an exercise DVD or do some jumping jacks.  Christmas is to be enjoyed, not endured and just reelaaaaxxxx.

If after Christmas, you would like a motivation boost, give me a call on 086 1038892 for appointments in Portlaoise and Dublin.
