Stop Smoking with No Weight Gain in Dublin, Laois and Limerick

When you initially stop smoking, it is possible to confuse the loss of the cigarettes with hunger and therefore eat more.  The question to ask yourself is “would I be eating this if I was still smoking?”.  If not, then leave it.  Remember boredom is a state of mind and cigarettes and food are not relieving the boredom, they just dampen the thought of boredom while in that activity.  Feeling good about your decision to stop smoking (and with hypnosis continuing this good feeling), you focus on your health and body.  What is the point of substituting one habit for another?  You are deciding to improve your wellbeing and sitting on your couch eating is not the answer.  If this has happened to you in the past, no doubt it is because wanted to sabotage yourself (i.e. the excuse to return to smoking) and because you believed you were “giving up” something and therefore, “deserved” a treat for your martyrdom!
