New Year, New You!
Another new year is upon us and how are your resolutions going? Too many resolutions means failure in all them. Why? Because your subconscious mind can only deal with one change at a time. It is better to pick just one area and set goals in this area. We all want to be thinner, richer, free of cigarettes, confident etc. What do you want?
Most people take more time to plan their holidays than they do to plan what they want to achieve for next month, the next year. How about you - what do you want, I ask again?
How are you going to achieve your goals?
Let’s break them down:
Set goals for every area of your life - personal, business/career, spiritual, family etc;
Give each goal a time frame;
Choose the ones with shorter deadlines - break each one down - how will you achieve it;
Remember, your goals must be flexible - one may overtake another.
Read your goals each night before going to sleep;
Read your goals first thing in the morning;
Revise your goals if necessary;
Always remember your goals and what you want to achieve.
If you want to go somewhere, you need a route otherwise you are just aimless. While being aimless can be fun for a while it does not achieve in the long run.
So plan your route, make whatever revisions you need to and achieve your goals.
Good Luck!
