Do you want to be a calming influence when you get home from work rather than a beast that everyone is afraid of ?

You can go from hot-head to cool head with hypnosis.  Basic skills include 3 things -

1. how to relieve stress

2. how to change your trigger thoughts

3. how to have positive anger that encourages clear thinking and being rational.

With regard to 1. when we are stressed, we become irritable and tired, the muscles and mind get wound up and with no relaxation, a pressure valve develops waiting to explode.  When relaxed, it is possible to be more rational and take in what it is going on rather than just reacting.

2. Background frustration allows “everything” to become personal and you be feeling put out by the behaviours of others.  If you feel things “should” be a certain way or you are entitled to feel frustrated then we need to look at your trigger thoughts and change them.  That is done with NLP (neuro lingustic programming) and it is essentially re-wiring your mind, unplugging the connection that feeds the frustration and re-connect with betters ways of behaving for you. 

With positive anger, you are able to stand up for yourself and state your case without the other person necessarily feeling threatened and you are able to get your point across without any emotional change in your voice or demeanour. You are being assertive.
