In a hypnotic session, (when you relax your conscious mind drifts off) and your subconscious mind becomes open to allow for adjustments or re-programming that is for your benefit. You are making the change, no-one else can make you change an unwanted habit or feeling unless you want to change. You have full control and power. My job is to help you focus, hyper-focus on the change you want to make and rather say, eg, I want to stop smoking – I ask more probing questions like why do you want to stop (smoking), what difference will this change make to your life, what is life going to be life for you with this change in place.
We need more than words to make change, you need to be able to feel it, see it, smell it, taste how great life is going to be with this change. But we also look at what can go wrong and what you will do circumvent obstacles, people etc that may try to thwart you. Remember it is not just you who has to accept change – your loved ones, family and friends have to re-adjust their idea/view of you.
Remember your subconsious mind has the reasons for your unwanted habit and only your subconscious can facilitate the change.
