			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There must be nothing more daunting for a sufferer of social anxiety than to talk one to one with someone in a counselling type situation.  The very thing you fear is being played out, being the focus of someone else&#8217;s attention.  The beauty of hypnosis is that your eyes are closed for most of the session with your focus being directed inward.  In the relaxed state of hypnosis, you can learn to separate emotion from past events which were are still running inside your mind, making you feel bad, making you feel empty and lonely.  Perhaps you fear you are losing your mind, that something is &#8220;wrong&#8221; with you.  In my experience, hypnotherapy gives you the opportunity to learn to like yourself and to love yourself.  To stop being the victim and to lose the feeling &#8220;of course I&#8217;m wrong&#8221;.  If you are constantly running yourself down, does this make for a happy person &#8211; the answer is no.  But you can be a survivor, you can come out the other.  You can learn to re-engage (or to engage for the first time) in life.  To stop looking in from the outside.  Think for a moment of what you want for yourself &#8211; all the things you want  (and not what you don&#8217;t want).  If you have reached the threshold of suffering and want to feel, see and think differently about your place in the world, you can do this.  You may have great insight into your problem and great logic but these are conscious thoughts and conscious thoughts are fleeting.  Your responses are stored in your subconscious mind (your automatic habit of feeling down) and you can change this as long as the subconscious mind feels these new changes are for your benefit.  Which means you have to justify the new behaviours to yourself.  This internal dialogue runs constantly but by accessing it with hypnosis (the key to the subconscious mind), you now know where your positive self lives and allow it to speak up. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-803" title="difficulty swallowing" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/difficulty-swallowing-150x150.gif" alt="difficulty swallowing" width="150" height="150" />This is interesting, you are unable to eat solid foods &#8211; you just can&#8217;t seem to swallow and have to resort to a baby&#8217;s menu of soft foods.  No doubt your weight is dropping too.  Meal times are very stressful.  Or perhaps this only occurs when eating out, when other people can see you what you eat/ (or in this case) don&#8217;t eat. </p>
<p>There is a tension in your body and your mind forsees the anxiety with trying to eat, the fear of swallowing food, the choking fear  and it becomes a vicious circle.  Hypnosis is a relaxation and in this case, we are relaxing the throat, allowing you to believe that you can indeed swallow food.  The background to this needs to be looked at &#8211; was it a choking incident in public that has now made you phobic or did you have a discussion while eating that you couldn&#8217;t really swallow (mentally) the contents of it &#8211; like breaking up or indeed, stepping the relationship up.  Something has caused you to feel this inability to swallow foods, and only your subconscious mind knows why and only your subconscious can change the image in your head so we take the emotion away (because we cannot change the past only the way it is viewed).  To re-learn the ability to swallow and to let go of the triggering image in your head, call me on 086 1038892 or email <a href="mailto:zita@zitastanley.com">zita@zitastanley.com</a>. <p>The subconscious mind always has a positive intent but memories of the past have allowed the subconscious mind to set up avoidance behaviours, escape mechanisms in a bid to help but as you know well, this actually compounds the problem.  With hypnosis you are moving out of your head.  A lot of energy is involved in negative thinking and think of what you could do and how more relaxed your body would be to use this energy in a better way. </p>

<p>The shyness and avoidance techniques are controlled by the subconscious mind and the only way to improve the ideas/thoughts about yourself is to access the subconscious mind through hypnosis.</p>
<p>Hypnosis is a relaxation where you have your eyes closed and you can focus on the past memories that give grief today so that you can view them with new eyes and thereby take away the emotional connection.  This in turn allows you to determine how you should feel about yourself so that you can adjust your behaviours to more beneficial ones.  Being proactive rather than reactive and taking charge of your mind so that you can be more more socially comfortable and take up your rightful space in society.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/unsure-woman.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-952" title="42-15654381" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/unsure-woman-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>The main focus of hypnosis when you suffer from unexplained infertility is to release any blocks you may have about becoming a parent.  You may be paying thousands of Euro to fertility clinics but unless your mind is clear, I am afraid you are just wasting your money.  You cannot underestimate the mind-body control.  Hypnosis is essentially a relaxation and it is the only way to relax both your mind and body.  This allows your self healing powers to develop and you can get go of your worries and concerns.  Overall wellbeing and balance is key to becoming pregnant.  That is the one thing I notice is that you do change, there is a sadness about you and you lose your sense of joy.  Your happiness, unfortunately, cannot depend on becoming pregnant.  There is no guarantee.  You have to be content with your life as it now, while exploring all the possible ways to help your mind-body connection adjust to allow you to become pregnant.  With my course of treatment, I can promise that you will return to old self but I cannot guarantee you will become pregnant &#8211; no-one can do that but you are stacking the odds in your favour.  If you do not heal your mind (and coming for just one session will not heal you), you are just wasting your time and money going to a fertility clinic.  You have to scream, you have to cry, you have to a verbal and/or physical release of the upset inside you.  You have to verbalise what you are afraid of and then we can work together to adjust or change your way of thinking so that you have the live you want and most importantly, that you can allow yourself to see your baby in the future.</p>

<p>This was recorded in your subconscious as a scene to be protected from.  With social anxiety, your thinking process and body language is inwards either trying to curl up into a ball, to disappear as you feel you have no right to take up the space you do.  This idea of disappearing or wanting to escape while a protection for you compounds your social anxiety as each time you have to be with others, you struggle more and more. </p>
