			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you find that you &#8220;name&#8221; your anger &#8211; upset, frustration, worry?  We can associate anger issues with men, we can see the aggression and although women are capable of being physically aggressive too, it seems that we focus this rage inward.  Anger is a valid emotion and failing to express it or find a release for it only causes problems in the long run.  Is your anger causing a stress inside you?  If you feel you are being taken advantage of because you do not say anything &#8211; what is the overall feeling for you?  It is going to be anger at yourself for not saying &#8220;no&#8221; to the extra work, &#8220;no&#8221; to working fulltime and managing the household.  Anger management for women is about being able to express yourself so that you are not only listened to but heard.  And doing this in a way that makes you feel empowered rather than exhausted.  It is about owning the piece of ground that you stand on.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/stop-anger-this-means-you.gif"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1136" title="stop anger this means you" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/stop-anger-this-means-you-150x150.gif" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>Most of my anger management clients are men and one of the prevailing issues for them is the fear of alienating children and their significant other.  Breaking and smashing of inanimate objects but then seeing fear in your child&#8217;s eyes and in your wife&#8217;s body language produces an unimaginable guilt feeling but yet you find this pattern repeating itself, knowing the devastation you are causing yourself and your family. </p>
<p>There is a way to clear your mind, halt the anger inside you and learning new behavioural patterns to assert yourself.  Anger is the result of some other feeling - you feel threatened in some way.  If your relationship is on the rocks, do you think a show of power will keep it safe? </p>
<p>I remember one of my clients was on the brink of suicide because he was so tired emotionally and physically of not being able to express himself at work and he took his frustration out on his wife and kids.  He saw the body language of fear in his family.  He knew his wife watched him to check what mood he was in and more often than not, she had the children in bed before he came home.  Within the first week of seeing me, his sleep had settled, his IBS had calmed down and I have given him tools so that on his drive home, it was his time to unwind and reframed going home as enjoyment.  One issue he had was the volume of his children (when they were still up) when he got home and it was reframing that to the reality that it was &#8211; children&#8217;s excitement at seeing their daddy &#8211; not irritating noise!  Within 4 weeks, he had become more assertive at work rather than let issues fester, he dealt with them as they arose. </p>
<p>This man had gone from being suicidal to a calmer, loving man in the space of 4 weeks with immediate changes from session 1.  You don&#8217;t have to suffer or feel weak for seeking help.  My job is to help you access your inner resources, discover how to work your own mind and body to your benefit so that you can enjoy new ways of being.  But you must need to want to change.  Don&#8217;t come to me if you think your partner will accept you because you said you were seeing someone for help &#8211; that doesn&#8217;t work.  You have to decide to you want to embrace change for yourself first and foremost and this will ripple to those around you. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/seething-anger.png"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-968" title="seething anger" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/seething-anger-150x150.png" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>Anger management is more than just learning how to control the rage that is it inside you, it is about understanding why you are angry.  Anger is a secondary emotion and that thing that causes our anger to explode is rarely the true object of our anger.  When we feel threatened in any way, emotionally, physically, intellectually, we adapt to the primal state of attack being the best form of defense.  You know yourself, the guilt that follows any anger outburst especially if directed at innocents.  NLP and hypnosis are useful tools to help you to control the anger immediately and develop more assertive ways of dealing with, for example, people you find difficult and feel threatened by.  Remember your anger state is not a positive even if you are defending yourself.  You can learn to lose that &#8220;wound up&#8221; feeling inside so that you approach all situations from a position of power, being calm and in control.  You will be amazed at how quickly you will notice the benefits, even after the first session.  Why suffer, do you really want to spend the rest of your life going from anger to guilt? What does this mean to you?  What does it mean to remain the same?  Initially it is about managing the anger and you and as you develop your skills, you find yourself developing into a more centred and calmer person.  For appointments call 086 1038892.  Dublin 2 and Limerick.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/angry-man-break-pc.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-934" title="angry man break pc" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/angry-man-break-pc-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>Anger is a secondary emotion &#8211; by that I mean, to feel angry we must have felt threatened (physically, socially, educationally, mentally) first which gave rise to the anger feelings.  In my sessions we take a look at why you are so quick to rise to anger so that you understand it is not the anger that is the problem, it is how you are feeling about yourself.  An example would be if you feel somehow inadequate at work and yet are doing well, you may be running a fear that somehow you will be found out so that creates a stress.  We can reprogramme this fear so it no longer becomes an issue for you.  Perhaps you turn your anger inward, always pleasant on the outside but seething on the inside, you may make yourself more prone to depressive tendencies and your self esteem is lowered.  But the good news is that once you figure out what your trigger is and by taking responsibility for your own control of your feelings and with hypnosis amazing things happen.  You begin to think more clearly &#8211; why?  Because your mind is not running the old programme of being &#8220;on guard&#8221; all the time.  Hypnosis is a link to your subconscious mind where all your reactions (and how you learned how to respond) are stored and we can access this programme and make appropriate adjustments that are in your favour.   The only thing you can change is your response to various triggers so that in the long run you are happier in yourself and by a domino effect, a pleasure to be around.  For more information on controlling anger, call me on 086 1038892 or email <a href="mailto:zita@zitastanley.com">zita@zitastanley.com</a>.  Dublin 2 and Limerick.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/seething-anger.png"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-895" title="seething anger" src="http://zitastanley.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/seething-anger-150x150.png" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>If you want a reliable way to manage and control your anger with a goal of not being bothered by minor things use hypnosis and NLP.  In time, anger is no longer an issue for you.  In just your first session, I am helping you to understand how you can control what is going on inside you.  We look at the various triggers for your anger and objectively seek ways to have these less bothersome for you, a re-frame in other words.  As you know, when you start to think angry thoughts, your body goes into a spasm almost, it needs to find a way to release this pent up anger.  With hypnosis, it is a relaxation and a relaxation that involves both your mind and body.  When you move from an awake state (Beta) to a light trance, daydream (Alpha), this is the state that allows you to make major changes as long as you are focused on what you want to achieve.  In the Alpha state, we can use NLP (neuro linguistic programming) to re-adjust and reprogramme your response so that you can get a glimpse into the future of how much better life can be for you.  A deeper state known as Theta is when you go into a light sleep and in this state, I am talking and giving the suggestions that you want so that they have a firm root in your subconscious mind.  You also receive a CD to play in between sessions (and this is a session within itself).  Overall a wonderful feeling of well being is achieved and as your confidence and faith in yourself build, you see dramatic changes in your life.  You will find that when you reflect on your week post session, that there may have been incidences where you would previously have been very annoyed and angry and now, they just don&#8217;t bother you.  Wouldn&#8217;t that be a great accomplishment in one week between two sessions with me?  If you want to take back control of your emotions, then call me on 086 1038892.  Office:  Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 2.</p>
