Tips to Stop Smoking
When you have decided to stop smoking, look forward to the day of seeing your hypnotherapist to begin your new life free from cigarettes. When you stop smoking, did you know that the nicotine has left your body in 48 hours? So, for those of you who have tried to go cold turkey and let the irritability and cravings return you to the cigarettes, this is the proof that it is your mind that wants the cigarettes, the nicotine is gone after 48 hours so there is no physical need for a cigarette. When you smoking a number of physical things can happen - your absorption rate of Vitamin C is decreased. So in the first few days when you stop smoking, you need to increase your Vitamin C intake either by having a least 3 oranges or pinkgrapefruits a day (or take Rubex - an effervescent tablet that dissolves in water, it is the equivalent of 6 oranges). Smoking increases the stress response in the body but you may feel smoking helped you to relax - take a Vitamin B complex which eases the nervous system.
