Social Anxiety

You may have found ways over the years to reduce your anxiety in social situations but find that the shyness and avoidance tendencies have remained.  Which makes you feel that you really have made no progress at all.  Anxiety, shyness and avoidance techniques are three separate entities and all three need to be worked on.

The shyness and avoidance techniques are controlled by the subconscious mind and the only way to improve the ideas/thoughts about yourself is to access the subconscious mind through hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a relaxation where you have your eyes closed and you can focus on the past memories that give grief today so that you can view them with new eyes and thereby take away the emotional connection.  This in turn allows you to determine how you should feel about yourself so that you can adjust your behaviours to more beneficial ones.  Being proactive rather than reactive and taking charge of your mind so that you can be more more socially comfortable and take up your rightful space in society.

Once the mind and body are relaxed, then you are relaxed with your mind free to be part of what is actually happening.  In this, the rumination and anxiety before an event disappears, you are less self conscious at the event and when you post mortem it, you see the fun times.

If you want to  overcome your social anxiety, stop/reduce your shyness, change your behaviours, let me help you with hypnosis as you develop a new skill set and gain a happier, more relaxed you.

The beauty of hypnosis and hypnotherapy is that it is a brief therapy, we focus on how you want to be so you are not years in therapy.  I help you to bring your dream of your ideal self into your grasp.  You will see results even after the 1st session.  Call me on 086 1038892.  Offices in Dublin City Centre (Dawson Street), Limerick City and Portlaoise.
