Social Anxiety and Hypnosis

Can you remember the first time you felt belittled, embarrassed, made to feel ashamed of who you were?  There is significant in recalling this event through hypnosis so that you can cut the emotional tie to that memory.  While we cannot change what has happened, the goal with hypnosis is take the emotional connection away so that you can be free to move forward with your life.

This was recorded in your subconscious as a scene to be protected from.  With social anxiety, your thinking process and body language is inwards either trying to curl up into a ball, to disappear as you feel you have no right to take up the space you do.  This idea of disappearing or wanting to escape while a protection for you compounds your social anxiety as each time you have to be with others, you struggle more and more.

If you feel you are always on the edge of the group, physically there but never quite present, then let me help you with hypnosis become the person you want to be.  I can help you to move your thoughts to focus on what is actually going on rather than your perception – focusing outwards rather than inwards.  There is no need to continue to suffer as you are allowing some past event to shape your future.  If you want to gain control of your thoughts and emotions, call me on 086 1038892 or email zita@zitastanley.com.  Appointments in Baggot Street and Portlaoise.
