Take a moment to think about how hypnosis can change the way you view things

A biography of man - Did you know that man is the only being who continues to do the same thing expecting a different result. With hypnosis you can focus your mind clearly and succinctly to achieve your goals. I came across the following tit-bit:

 

Chapter 1: I walk down a street and fall into a big hole. I am lost….I am helpless. It’s not my fault. It takes a long time to get out.

Laughter - Happiness and Hypnosis

During the Easter holidays, I watched Monsters Inc with my children. Now we have seen this millions of times before but this time I was propelled to write this segment. The basis of the story is how the scary monsters generate energy for their world by the children screaming. Towards the end of the movie, they find out that children’s laughter provides energy than the screaming. Children laugh much more often than adults. When do adults learn stop smiling and laughing. Hypnosis can help you find the happiness. Imagine the last time you laughed, a great big hearty laugh, how great it felt. Learning hypnosis will help you  to harness this “happy energy” so it is available when you need it.  Wouldn’t it be great to feel this good everyday. Now I know we cannot go around laughing every minute of the day but you can choose to feel happier each morning when you wake - make the conscious decision to be happy and see what difference than makes. Wart Removal with Hypnosis

One of my first clients was a man who had a number of warts on his hands. They varied in size and were more of an annoyance than anything else. He had cryotherapy yearly for a few years but wanted rid of them. I was recommended to him and so it came to be that I saw him.

Now while I cannot claim to cure, hypnosis can help direct your mind so that we all have a mini-superhero inside ready to eliminate the resident evil! No therapy is required. That was 2 years ago and he is still free of warts longer than he had free from cryotherapy.

Stop Smoking and Hypnosis

To be successful in stopping smoking you need to be aware of the pay-offs and benefits you get from smoking (if there weren’t any pay-offs, you wouldn’t be smoking). Do you think smoking gives you confidence? If yes, then you may need confidence boosting before you attempt to stop smoking. Do you smoke to relieve stress - what will you do if you stop smoking suddenly. When you see me for your stop smoking using hypnosis, we work through these issues together, some you may well be aware of, others will be at a subconscious level and this gives you the best chance in being successful with quitting smoking. Public Speaking and Hypnosis

Most people are unaccustomed to being the centre of attention and when public speaking you are most definitely the centre of attention.  Whatever form it takes (standing on stage, giving a presentation at work) your anxiety can be uncontrollable so that you may fidget, lose focus, continually thinking negatively and most definitely not giving the best of yourself.  Hypnosis can help you rehearse (in your session with me) successful presentation skills and feeling good about the idea of public speaking.  Now, the aim is not to eliminate the anxiety totally - you need some adrenaline to pump you up but that you control and turn any knots in your stomach into excitement. Any unwanted issues like blushing while speaking or dry throat are also dealt with.  In other words, in session we deal with all the issues that make public speaking difficult and a chore for you.

Hypnosis helps you to feel that excitement, see yourself as you want to be giving your presentation and seeing yourself with your nerves under control and working for you rather than against.

Reasons for Stopping Smoking

  • Health – are you already suffering the ill effects of smoking? Perhaps members of your family are affected by second hand smoke leading to bronchitis, asthma or other health problems.
  • Better professional image – do you really want to be remembered for your smoky breath and stale smell on your body from smoking cigarettes. You are brighter when you are stop smoking.
  • Sense of achievement – you have been controlled by cigarettes for so long. Now your desire to be happy, healthy and a non-smoker is driving you to take back control of you.

Stop Smoking - how hypnosis helps

No doubt you are aware of the aids for various patches, gums etc to aid in overcoming smoking. There is one in particular about how you must keep the little nicotine monsters in your mind fed - what a fallacy. The truth is that within 48 hours of stopping smoking the nicotine has left your body - Really - no need for mood swings, irritability etc. So why in your previous attempts have you been like a monster to live with - because you are psychologically still connected to the cigarette.

How does hypnotherapy work to help you stop smoking?

At your hypnotherapy session we look at all the positive reasons for becoming a non smoker. How great your life will be etc. But we are not “Pollyanna” about it - we must look at what you can replace cigarettes with - for example, do you smoke for confidence in social situations, have you smoked 30/40 for 20 years - then you are losing a “friend” something that has been there for you in good times and bad etc. Do you smoke to occupy your hands or for boredom? We must look at these areas and come up with something else a more positive replacement and it must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achieveable, Realistic, Time Specific). You come up with the ideas - you know your life, how you fit or not fit in various new ideas into it.
