RTE’s show “How Long Will You Live?” is back next week. I feature during this series as I help a mother and daughter from Limerick stop smoking in a single session. This will air on 20th February 2008 at 8:30 pm.
This is a happy little story to end the year on. In January 2007, I saw a lovely lady who had problems becoming pregnant. There was nothing medically wrong with her or her husband but she couldn’t become pregnant and she had become a shadow of her former self in terms of her personality. So, as it the usual course of things, hypnosis was a last resort. I saw her for a number of sessions and she was delighted at the return of her former self with comments from family and friends in the vein of “it’s good to have you back”. Our last session was focused on her becoming pregnant, what it would feel like, and what she could see in her future. She was very excited and went on her way.
I heard nothing more and came across her name from time to time when going through my diary. I wanted to call her but as is the way of things, I could not as I did not wish to remind her of that dark time.
Then one day out of the blue in November I got a call from her. A happy voice at the other end of the line. She was 7 months pregnant! I was overjoyed to hear from her. She very kindly attributes her pregnancy to me. She is now planning to come to me for my childbirth with ease using hypnosis in the New Year.
While I am proud of all my clients to go on to make the positive changes they wish to make and I am delighted to be part of the change, I am most proud of this lovely lady and her husband (you know if you are reading this) how truly delighted I am to have helped.
Have a great New Year in 2008. Professionally speaking this was a great year for me. Thank you for your e-mails, visits etc. All I have ever wanted was to help you become as good as you can be. We only get one life so we must make the most of it.
